UBIQ has recently complete a series of AS1530.4:2014 tests at the laboratories of Jensen Hughes in Dandenong, Victoria.

4 (four) tests were undertaken for our 2-way lightweight floor system(s).

2 (two) each of these tests were undertaken in the BELOW and ABOVE directions, both Load Bearing and with a comprehensive range of Services Penetrations.

All load bearing floors can be with timber or steel frame, and with loads /spans according to the design of that frame.

Headline performances are:-

• A 120/120/120 2-way system with only 2 layers of 16mm fire rated plasterboard as the ceiling
• A 90/90/90 1-way system from ABOVE without any ceiling
• A 120/120/120 1-way system from ABOVE with only 6mm fibre cement ceiling
• A 180/180/180 system from above with a 120/120/120 system from BELOW
• A wide range of -/120/120 services penetrations tested in both the BELOW and ABOVE directions.
